This reproduction of a WWII Horn Handled kukri is based on the kukri carried by Lalbahadur Gurung of the 6th Gurkha Rifles during the Second World War. It is the only model (hand-made in Nepal today) that is actually based on an original. Other kukri manufacturers WWII models are generally tourist production kukri, which do not truly represent the originals.
This kukri is great to use, and is an excellent all-rounder capable of medium-to-light heavy usage and in an emergency, heavy-duty work. The blade is signed by the Smith who made it.
